Avenues Group is a £50m turnover organisation with 2,000 staff supporting people across London, East and South East England, and the West Midlands. We are a large social care provider headquartered in Kent, providing services to support people with complex needs to lead the life they want, being part of the local community where they live. We provide long term supported living to people with a range of learning disabilities and acquired brain injuries, allowing them to live long and fulfilled lives with our support.
Following the retirement of our Chief Executive, we are now looking for an exceptional Chief Executive to continue our excellent progress, to continue to deliver our Strategy 2018-2021, and to develop a new strategic plan which accounts for changes in our external environment. You will provide inspirational, values-driven leadership and management of the Group to allow us to continue delivering safe, innovative, enriching and high-quality care services, as well as develop new service models and innovation. You will seek business growth and spot new commercial opportunities to enable us to grow, being our ambassador in the communities we serve.
You will have a proven senior track record of success in leading an organisation to deliver personalised services in a dispersed organisation, ensuring they are high quality, fully compliant and financially viable. You will also have experience of designing and delivering new and innovative service models as well negotiating complex contracts with commissioners.
